My professional consulting pseudonym is Ørnsyn. In Norwegian, 'ørn' stands for eagle, and 'syn' for sight. It is a term depicting my approach — focus on the priorities, threat perspective and effective countermeasures.
I'm a practitioner and an occasional instructor in Bergen HEMA fencing club.
HEMA is a modern combat sport notorious for its sparring practice and tournaments including weapons like longsword, saber, spear, daggers and grappling elements. Reviving techniques and tactics primarily from 13th to 17th centuries battle manuals.
A sense for design has been following me all the time, being there either consciously or subconsciously in nearly everything I do.
I'm into all its forms – from UX in the digital space to physical world applications. I even combine cybersecurity and design in various ways. Due to my fascination with vectors I became proficient in vector graphics.
